Disability Consulting

Disability Consulting

If your business or organization would like advice on how to be more accommodating to people with disabilities, don’t hire abled “accessibility experts” who don’t have real-life experiences with what healthy people think is suitable for accommodations. Hire someone like me, someone who is autistic, has many sensory issues, has mental health issues, uses mobility aids ranging from a cane to a wheelchair, and otherwise has been very put out for want of a chair or proper signage directing me to accessible facilities. I prefer to conduct my consulting virtually, but if you would like me on-site for a walk-through after a preliminary virtual consultation, my fees include not only my time and travel expenses, but the physical preparation and recovery time it will require for me to explore your facility. On-site consultations will require a minimum of one-month lead time, but could extend to multiple months depending on my real-life schedule. Please use my contact form and include a statement like, “I would like to hire you for disability consulting.”
