I've been keeping these in the soft bag in my purse, and no harm has come to them so far. My son has even tried putting them on, and they managed to not break when he stretched them farther than they should have gone. And it's definitely awesome to have sunglasses that don't hurt! Just kidding! I still wear glasses and contacts anyway. I'm a big fan of cheap sunglasses. I have sensitive eyes as well and so I wear them everywhere. As a result, they get banged around in my purse, dropped on floors, you name it. I don't go easy on my sunglasses. I'm usually a $5 a pair kind of girl. However, your review here has made me consider spending a little more and treating a little better. Might be worth it for the bridge of my nose, tops of my ears, temples and all those areas that cheap sunglasses tend to torture after a few hours of wear.
